Nine-day-old site claims to be the "official" Jimmy John's Pickle Pals plush store, but the real plushies come only with an in-store meal
jimmyjohnspickleplush.com is a WooCommerce-style shop selling "JJ Pickle Plush" singles at $18.99 and a five-piece set at $59.99, using the Jimmy John's "Pickle Pals" branding and a 5% new-customer coupon. The domain was registered nine days before our review, and independent news coverage describes the Pickle Pals plushies as a restaurant promotion available only with the "Triple Pickle" meal bought in store or at the drive-thru. No operator name, phone number or postal address is published, and the only contact is a generic service@ mailbox. Nothing malicious was detected technically, but the identity and provenance of this storefront are unverified, which places it in the High Risk band.

Why 30/100
High Risk covers scores 21–44. 3 findings pulled the score down; 2 pushed it up.
What pulled the score down
- ModerateNo company name, registration number, phone number or postal address is published; the only contact is a generic service@ mailbox.
- ModerateThe store sells itself as the official Pickle Pals shop, while news coverage says the plushies come only with the in-store or drive-thru "Triple Pickle" meal.
- MinorThe registrable domain was nine days old at review, matching the promotion's launch window rather than an established retailer.
What pushed the score up
- SupportsNo malicious or suspicious detections across 93 engines, no Safe Browsing warning, valid TLS and a hosting address with no abuse reports.
- SupportsThe contact address sits on the site's own domain rather than a free-mail provider.
No points per finding are stored for this report: our analysis weighed all findings together to set the score. Each finding shows its saved severity instead (Decisive, Strong, Moderate or Minor).
Lost money or shared details on jimmyjohnspickleplush.com? Do this now
Act quickly: the first hours matter most for a chargeback.
- Call your bank or card issuer now
Ask them to dispute the charge or open a chargeback; the sooner you act, the better your odds. Card payments can often be reversed. Bank transfers and gift cards are harder, but report them to your bank too. Crypto payments usually cannot be reversed: report the wallet address and transaction ID to the exchange you sent from.
- Change any password you entered
If you entered a password on jimmyjohnspickleplush.com, change it there and anywhere you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication. Keep screenshots, order confirmations and messages as evidence.
- Report the site
Reports help get scam sites taken down faster and warn other people.
- Report the domain to its registrar
Xin Net Technology Corporation takes abuse reports at supervision@xinnet.com (+86.4008182233). Include the address and what happened.
- Ignore anyone offering to recover your money
"Recovery" services or agents who contact you, or ask for a fee up front, are almost always a second scam aimed at victims. Your bank's dispute process and the official reporting services never charge a fee in advance.

Investigation Brief
jimmyjohnspickleplush.com is a WooCommerce-style shop selling "JJ Pickle Plush" singles at $18.99 and a five-piece set at $59.99, using the Jimmy John's "Pickle Pals" branding and a 5% new-customer coupon.
The "official store" claim conflicts with how the real plushies are distributed
The site is built entirely around the Jimmy John's pickle plush promotion: the header logo reads "Pickle Pals" with a pickle graphic while the page title and navigation say "JJ PICKLE PLUSH", and the hero image shows five green pickle plush toys. The store describes itself as the licensed, official source for these toys.
Three separate news outlets describe the same plushies as a meal-linked promotion: they are only available with the purchase of the "Triple Pickle" meal, and fans can get them only by ordering in store or at the drive-thru at participating locations while supplies last. A standalone online shop selling them at fixed prices does not match that distribution channel, so the official status claimed on the site is not supported.
A nine-day-old domain with no named operator
The registrable domain was nine days old when we reviewed it, which lines up with the launch window of the promotion it copies rather than with an established retailer. The captured pages name no company, no registration number, no phone number and no postal address.
The only contact route is a generic service@ mailbox on the site's own domain. That is at least internally consistent rather than a free-mail address, but a generic service mailbox with no phone or address is a pattern shared by many short-lived storefronts and gives a buyer no way to identify or pursue the seller.
No malware or phishing code found, but that does not vouch for the seller
The technical checks came back clean: no malicious or suspicious detections across 93 engines, no Safe Browsing warning, a valid encrypted connection, and a hosting address with no abuse reports. No popups, forced redirects, downloads or credential-harvesting behaviour were observed while the page rendered.
The store also publishes terms, shipping and returns pages, and its refund text describes refunds to the original payment method within 10 business days after inspection and approval, with no refund-trap wording captured. Order tracking and "return to shop" links stay on the same domain, and no cross-domain checkout or payment destination appeared in the captured links. These are ordinary storefront features; they show the site is not a bare single-page funnel, not that the seller is who it claims to be.
Why the score is 30
No company name, registration number, phone number or postal address is published; the only contact is a generic service@ mailbox.

The completed checks from this saved scan are detailed above.
jimmyjohnspickleplush.com was registered very recently when this review was saved and was already flagged. Freshly-registered domains are disproportionately used for scams, and a young domain with active threat signals warrants extra caution.

Saved contact details can help identify the operator. Their presence supports traceability; it does not prove the business is trustworthy.

Domain & Encryption
Report this domain to its registrar: send the address and what happened to this contact.
A certificate issued weeks or days before the scan on a domain registered recently is common on short-lived sites, though new legitimate sites look the same.
