German-looking pet shop redirects to a second domain and carries an independent review platform complaints about non-delivery and costly returns to China
Tierbedarf-plus.de presents itself as a German pet supply shop selling cat and dog products, but the address redirects visitors to tierbedarf-pro.de, where the storefront actually loads. Two independent an independent review platform complaint summaries describe long delivery times, orders that never arrived, poor service, and high return costs to China. Technical checks are mostly clean — no Safe Browsing warning, a valid encrypted connection, and a hosting IP with no abuse history — but one saved antivirus result marks the URL as suspicious. The combination of a cross-domain storefront, China-based returns, and delivery complaints places this in the High Risk band rather than Safe.

The score combines saved evidence strength and analysis quality. Coverage is reported separately.
Why 38/100
High Risk covers scores 21–44. 3 findings pulled the score down; 4 pushed it up.
What pulled the score down
- ModerateOne customer complaint on a public review site: "Viele Verbraucher äußern sich negativ über ihre Bestellungen und den Lieferservice. Es gibt Bedenken hinsichtlich der langen Lieferzeiten und Fälle, in denen…"
- Moderate1 antivirus result marked the URL as suspicious. This comes from a saved antivirus observation rather than a new submission, so treat the detection as real but confirm the timing.
- MinorThe page redirected the browser to an unrelated external domain.
What pushed the score up
- SupportsThe browser threat feed returned no threat warning for the site.
- SupportsThe saved TLS check found a valid encrypted connection.
- SupportsThe hosting IP has an abuse confidence score of 0/100 across seven saved reports.
- SupportsThe Internet Archive first captured the home page in 2008, with unbroken yearly captures only from 2024 to 2026; this dates archiving, not domain registration.
No points per finding are stored for this report: our analysis weighed all findings together to set the score. Each finding shows its saved severity instead (Decisive, Strong, Moderate or Minor). Community reviews never change the Safety Score.
Lost money or shared details on tierbedarf-plus.de? Do this now
Act quickly: the first hours matter most for a chargeback.
- Call your bank or card issuer now
Ask them to dispute the charge or open a chargeback; the sooner you act, the better your odds. Card payments can often be reversed. Bank transfers and gift cards are harder, but report them to your bank too. Crypto payments usually cannot be reversed: report the wallet address and transaction ID to the exchange you sent from.
- Change any password you entered
If you entered a password on tierbedarf-plus.de, change it there and anywhere you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication. Keep screenshots, order confirmations and messages as evidence.
- Report the site
Reports help get scam sites taken down faster and warn other people.
- Report the domain to its registrar
The registrar is the company that sold this domain. ICANN's lookup shows the registrar's abuse contact.
- Ignore anyone offering to recover your money
"Recovery" services or agents who contact you, or ask for a fee up front, are almost always a second scam aimed at victims. Your bank's dispute process and the official reporting services never charge a fee in advance.

Investigation Brief
What customers report about orders and returns
The most concrete adverse evidence is external. One an independent review platform-based complaint summary says consumers report long delivery times and cases where ordered items did not arrive. A second summary says multiple reviewers describe return problems, specifically high return costs to China. Together these describe a shop that looks German-facing but ships and handles returns from China, which is the classic friction pattern of a cross-border dropshipping operation.
The site itself is a functioning Shopify-style storefront with a cart, login, search, product collections for cats and dogs, and a Halloween sale banner. That means the shop is real in the sense that it takes orders — the risk is not a broken or fake checkout, but what happens after payment: delivery timing and return logistics.
Clean connection checks do not offset the commercial complaints
On the technical side, the browser threat feed returned no threat warning, the saved TLS check found a valid encrypted connection, and the hosting IP has an abuse confidence score of 0/100 across seven saved reports. Those facts mean the site is not currently flagged as a malware or phishing host, and they are genuinely supportive.
However, one saved antivirus result marked the URL as suspicious, and that observation is stale, so it should be treated as a real but dated signal rather than a current verdict. More importantly, clean technical checks say nothing about whether a shop delivers what it sells. The operator-level complaints about non-delivery and China return costs are the decisive factor here, not the absence of a malware flag.
Why the score is 38
One customer complaint on a public review site: "Viele Verbraucher äußern sich negativ über ihre Bestellungen und den Lieferservice. Es gibt Bedenken hinsichtlich der langen Lieferzeiten und Fälle, in denen…". Coverage remains separate so missing sources cannot be mistaken for clean results.

If this is a scam — what it means for you
What a visitor actually experiences
A visitor typing tierbedarf-plus.de is redirected to tierbedarf-pro.de, so the shop they land on is on a different domain from the one they entered. The scanned address redirects to another site, and that site's contact details were not attributed to the scanned site, so the operator behind the storefront is not clearly established from the landing page alone.
If this is a scam, how it works
The evidence-backed path
Each stage below is preserved from the grounded analysis and linked to saved evidence.
Once on the storefront, the visitor can browse pet products, add items to a cart, and check out. The documented outcome for some customers, per the complaint summaries, is a long wait, an order that never arrives, or a return that must be shipped back to China at the customer's expense.
Treat this as a high-risk purchase. If you need pet supplies, buy from a retailer with a verifiable German address and a clear local returns policy. If you do order here, use a payment method with chargeback protection, expect possible weeks-long shipping from China, and confirm the return address and return-cost responsibility before paying.
